In my April 2 Course Correction, I gave you the challenge of fixing $80+ billion Panasonic, which has fallen on woeful times. Succeed and every board in the Global 1,000 will open its checkbook for you.
Unfortunately, solving the Panasonic nightmare just got a lot worse. The company reported that it has lost over $20 billion since 2009. Investors are now seeking to break up its long time competitor, Sony. Can Panasonic be next?
How hard will it be for you to fix Panasonic as losses mount and the vultures circle? And can you do it fast enough?

SAMSUNG ABOUT TO CRASH

Too many people are yakking up Samsung and not enough people are thinking. Samsung has seriously big troubles that management needs to get onto fast – like the next quarter. It has a combined 80 days of sales in inventory and receivables against Apple’s 30. That’s nearly two months in hard cash. Samsung is four days worse off than Apple was in 1997, a year before Tim Cook kicked off the cash velocity revolution there.  This tells me that Samsung’s supply chain and sales operations are not competitive.  History shows that it could take Samsung 10-15 years to catch …
